Link to the Passed emerged from a fascination with what becomes of innocence after it encounters darkness. Inspired by horror lore and Jungian shadow work, I wanted to create an image of the inner child standing at the threshold between corruption and growth.
DECRYPTION
The piece represents the wounded but enduring self within us—the part that has seen pain, grief, and fear, yet still carries wonder. The monster and the child are not separate beings but reflections of one another, inviting integration rather than destruction.
